Biography
Evan M. Michaelson, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon at the Anne Arundel Orthopaedic Surgeons Division in Annapolis, Bowie and Glen Burnie, Maryland. Dr. Michaelson spent 10 years at hospitals in the Maryland/DC/Virginia area, where he completed both his medical school and residency training with Georgetown University. He then completed an advanced training fellowship in shoulder and elbow reconstructive surgery and arthroscopic surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
He has a special interest in primary and revision shoulder replacement surgery, shoulder dislocations and rotator cuff repair, AC joint reconstruction, knee arthroscopic reconstruction, sports injuries, and upper extremity/general fracture care.
Dr. Michaelson gets great satisfaction in using his musculoskeletal knowledge to help patients of all ages stay healthy and active.
