While AAOS physicians provide a wide variety of orthopaedic procedures and treatments, the practice is most focused on arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, as well as sports medicine, hand and upper extremity surgery and total joint replacement.
The physicians take pride in knowing that they are all fellowship-trained and board certified in their respective sub-specialties, having invested the time and commitment to further their training and expertise to provide patients with the best care possible.
The physicians at AAOS participate with the Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Joint Center, a multidisciplinary team of operative and non-operative specialists, who care for patients throughout the joint replacement process. The Joint Center has been honored as the busiest joint program in the state. One in 10 joint replacement patients in Maryland choose AAMC’s Joint Center because of the center’s quality outcomes, efficient treatments, low-costs and patient-centered care. Joint Center patients report high satisfaction, and the center remains at the top 10 percent in the nation for overall patient experience. AAOS is proud to have a hand in such a successful joint replacement program.
The team at Anne Arundel Orthopaedic Surgeons takes great pride in its patient-centered, service-focused delivery of orthopaedic care. One of the recent care centers to join The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, AAOS was driven to join CAO with recognition that healthcare is best implemented when physicians can make business and clinical decisions that are in the best interests of the patients.
